Methodology
Why “Shameless Cloning”
The name comes from Mohnish Pabrai, who has long called himself a shameless cloner: rather than insist on original ideas, he studies what the best investors he can find are buying and copies the ones he understands. This site does the legwork for that: every 13F portfolio, insider purchase and congressional trade, linked to the filing it came from.
Source and date
Positions originate in SEC Form 13F filings. Holdings currently shown are the Q2 2026 snapshot, last exported 2026-08-24. Filing-season progress updates separately; it does not mean later holdings or amendments have been loaded into this snapshot.
Curated filers
The supplied roster has 83 names. This snapshot contains 79 reviewed manager-to-CIK matches; four names need more evidence. Ownership rankings use only managers with at least 95% mapped-value coverage. This is not an exhaustive 13F universe or a skill ranking.
Eligible holdings
Each manager page shows all screened US-listed common stocks and ADRs in the holdings snapshot. ETFs, funds, options, preferreds and other non-equities are screened out. The price screen is at least $5. Historical security identity and listing checks are still incomplete.
Weights and changes
Portfolio weights use the full reported share-portfolio denominator. The prior-weight column compares Q1 2026 with Q2 2026. Market-price changes can move a weight even without a trade; absence from a screened prior-quarter view does not prove a purchase or sale.
Ownership counts
A security is counted once per manager by CUSIP in this curated group. Combined value sums reported filing values; it is not current ownership or market capitalization.
Limits
13F excludes short positions and many assets outside its reporting scope, and filings are delayed. Decision coverage is a diagnostic, not proof of complete identity resolution. The site does not currently show validated investment returns or alpha.
